Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Dependable and reliable
- Ability to perform repetitious activities
- Ability to lift/carry products weighing up to 30 lbs
- Ability to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- Ability to read, write and count
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Exhibit outgoing, friendly behavior and a positive attitude
- Ability to operate front end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and stay organized
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- Ability to read, write and count
Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately and efficiently
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt, friendly service
- Handle customer cash, credit/debit payments and change accurately
- Provide information and resolve customer complaints
- Assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed
- Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and store events
- Keep checkout areas clean and orderly at all times
