Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
minimum of 1 year cashier experience
ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
strong attention to detail and accuracy
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to stand for extended periods
availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

excellent customer service and communication skills

Job Duties

process checkout and return transactions
monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
proactively seek product and project knowledge to provide customer information and identify selling opportunities
position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
approve point of sale transactions and markdowns for various registers
provide first level escalation for customer issues
assist in supervision, coaching, and training of front end associates
participate in training new cashiers and utilize tools to coach and develop cashiers
