Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- excellent computer skills including POS system competence
- strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- ability to learn tasks quickly and work independently
- basic math skills
- obtain Food Handlers Permit if applicable
- proficient English communication skills both oral and written
- availability to work flexible shifts including different stores within the district
- physical ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and perform repetitive arm and hand movements throughout workday
- ability to push/pull up to 20 pounds using equipment like hand trucks
Job Qualifications

- excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- ability to learn simple tasks quickly and work with little supervision

- ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- open availability to work all shifts at home store and other nearby stores
Job Duties
- Take measures to preserve the safety of employees and others in the work location
- operate POS systems precisely and accurately manage money and payment for products sold
- enter all transactions, accept payments, and account for all funds
- perform service transactions per company policy including credit card, coupon redemption, vendor check-in, alcohol, tobacco and lottery sales, and fast-food sales
- check identification for restricted products per company policy
- participate in sales promotions and campaigns
- practice suggestive selling and build customer relations
- review and adhere to laws affecting store operations
- maintain neat appearance and wear company uniform
- prepare hot food and beverage items according to procedures
- ensure store cleanliness, sanitize equipment, and maintain equipment functionality
- sweep, mop, clean and restock areas throughout the store
- perform regular cleaning and restocking of cooler, Hydrazone, and shelves
- receive and stock merchandise using proper techniques
- conduct daily inspections of perishable products
- follow company safety and emergency protocols
- act as backup cashier during Barista shifts
- brew fresh coffee and maintain condiment areas
- perform deep cleaning during night shifts
- prepare for morning rush by ensuring all machines and supplies are ready
