high school diploma or equivalent
one year or more cashier experience
ability to handle transactions accurately
strong customer service orientation
ability to work flexible shifts
basic computer skills
ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members

Job Duties

process checkout and return transactions
monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
approve point of sale transactions and markdowns for mainline registers and other service areas
provide first-level escalation for customer issues
assist in supervision, coaching, and training of front end associates
participate in the training of new cashiers and utilize tools to coach and develop staff
