Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or retail preferred
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- good physical stamina to stand and walk continuously during shifts
- ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- willingness to learn and follow company policies and procedures
- reliability and punctuality

Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service with persistence and perseverance
- meet expectations of internal and external customers by demonstrating care and empathy
- communicate and enforce standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions, and food safety
- meet goals related to Bottom of the Basket initiatives
- participate in cashier training and follow policies including WIC, checks, liquor, and tobacco sales
- follow procedures for voids, refunds, transaction cancellation, and saved recall transactions
- maintain personal cashier productivity
- ensure compliance with WIC procedures
- maintain presentation, cleanliness, organization, and personal appearance
- perform other store duties as needed
- continuously engage with customers
- improve speed and efficiency of service provided
