Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of Cashier experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a Cashier preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to support and coach team members
- Knowledge of Point of Sale systems
- Basic math skills
- Ability to handle escalations professionally
Job Duties
- Process Checkout and return transactions
- Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area
- Provide customers with fast, friendly, accurate and safe service
- Seek product and project knowledge to provide information and identify selling opportunities
- Follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
- Position Cashiers and support by expediting price checks
- Approve Point of Sale transactions and markdowns for multiple sales points
- Provide first level escalation for customer issues
- Assist in supervision, coaching and training of Front End Associates
- Participate in training new Cashiers
