Job Requirements

- proficient use of Point of Sale, email, website, and time clock software

Job Duties
- Uphold all Co-op policies, procedures, and expectations
- exceed customers’ expectations for service and provide a welcoming environment for all people and diverse backgrounds
- provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service in a professional manner
- maintain a calm and friendly demeanor with customers
- handle transactions accurately including giving correct change and entering correct departments and prices
- maintain working knowledge of PLUs and register procedures
- load customer purchases into bags efficiently and help customers transport purchases
- assist customers with special orders and e-commerce pickups
- shop ecommerce customer orders accurately and process transactions efficiently
- maintain cleanliness of sales floor and grounds
- ensure supplies are well-stocked
- check prices, clean spills, restock items
- return carts and containers to proper locations
- prepare drawer money for deposit accurately
- adhere to scheduled shifts and dress code
- maintain accurate and attractive signage at Front End
- assist in inventory counts, storewide cleaning, and carry out other projects
- attend meetings and events as requested
- report equipment repair and maintenance needs and follow up
- demonstrate support for cooperative values daily
- perform other duties and work in other departments as assigned
- uphold the Employee Handbook consistently
