Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1 year of cashier or front-of-house experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to maintain 100% accuracy handling cash register transactions
  • capacity to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day
  • ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • capacity to follow food safety practices
  • willingness to work in temperature variations between 32 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • dependable and adaptable team player capable of covering other roles when needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent desired
  • minimum 1 year of experience as a cashier, server, or front-of-house team member in a restaurant or retail setting
  • strong interpersonal and guest service skills
  • ability to use a POS system accurately
  • knowledge of food safety standards is a plus
  • effective communication skills in English
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • proactive in suggestive selling and upselling
  • team player with a strong work ethic
  • ability to follow directions and manage time efficiently

Job Duties

  • Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and approach the counter
  • take guests' orders using the POS system and process payments
  • provide information about menu items and make suggestions for complimentary items
  • ensure food and beverages are handed off correctly by expo station team members
  • thank guests and invite them to return
  • clean front-of-house areas as needed
  • stock and clean other areas as needed
  • assist with side work as directed
  • operate the shake station when needed including preparation and stocking
