Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk preferred but not required

Job Duties

Greet, engage and assist customers actively
Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
Handle various tenders such as cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons and loyalty offers according to company policy
Adhere to company guidelines on cash shortages, overages and restricted sale items
Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards and coupons
Stay current with seasonal and special ads
Comply with food safety regulations
Identify and report safety issues to management
Inspect equipment and notify about repairs
Create a welcoming environment for customers
Follow all local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
Manage conflicts reasonably and nonconfrontationally
Act with honesty and integrity with customer and business information
Seek assistance when resolving customer and business issues
Provide support when interacting with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
