Customer service experience
Effective communication skills
Knowledge of basic math including counting, addition, and subtraction
Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced and stressful environment
Ability to manage conflict reasonably and nonconfrontationally

Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when needed

Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Greet customers and provide exceptional service
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
Adhere to company policies regarding cash shortages, restricted items, and checkout procedures
Report pricing discrepancies and maintain food safety standards
Comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
Assist customers by answering product questions and creating a welcoming environment
Manage conflict in a cooperative and nonconfrontational manner
