Job Requirements

Customer service experience
Effective communication skills
Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Job Duties

Greet customers actively and assist them during their shopping experience
Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
Handle various payment tenders including cash, checks, credit/debit cards, SNAP EBT, coupons according to company policies
Adhere to company guidelines on cash shortages and loss prevention
Follow policies for restricted sales items like alcohol and tobacco
Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
Maintain compliance with food safety regulations
Identify and report unsafe conditions or incidents to management
Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs
Provide excellent customer service by answering product-related questions
Comply with all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
Collaborate effectively under high-paced and stressful conditions
Manage conflicts in a calm, cooperative manner
Protect customer and business information with honesty and integrity
Seek assistance when needed to resolve customer or business issues
Offer support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
