Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet customers actively and assist them during their shopping experience
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle various payment tenders including cash, checks, credit/debit cards, SNAP EBT, coupons according to company policies
- Adhere to company guidelines on cash shortages and loss prevention
- Follow policies for restricted sales items like alcohol and tobacco
- Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations
- Identify and report unsafe conditions or incidents to management
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs
- Provide excellent customer service by answering product-related questions
- Comply with all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
- Collaborate effectively under high-paced and stressful conditions
- Manage conflicts in a calm, cooperative manner
- Protect customer and business information with honesty and integrity
- Seek assistance when needed to resolve customer or business issues
- Offer support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
