Job Duties

Greet and engage customers actively and courteously
Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the point of sale
Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons according to company policy
Adhere to company guidelines on restricted sale items and control cash shortages or overages honestly
Report pricing discrepancies and follow established policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
Stay updated with current promotions, seasonal ads, and special offers
Maintain food safety standards and ensure a clean, safe environment
Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues to management
Provide excellent customer service by answering product questions and fostering a welcoming atmosphere
Comply with all local, state, federal laws and company guidelines
Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
Manage conflict reasonably and nonconfrontationally
Maintain honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business concerns
Provide support through interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
