Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers actively and courteously
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle varied tenders such as cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons according to company policy
- Adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items and report pricing discrepancies
- Follow established procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Stay current with promotional ads and food safety regulations
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, maintain equipment, and reinforce safety programs
- Provide customers with product information and create a welcoming environment
- Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner
- Follow company policies and work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
