Job Duties

  • Greet, engage, and assist customers actively
  • Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
  • Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, coupons, and loyalty offers
  • Adhere to company policies regarding cash overages, shortages, and restricted sales
  • Report pricing discrepancies and follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
  • Maintain knowledge of current and seasonal promotions
  • Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures
  • Identify unsafe conditions and notify management
  • Perform preventive equipment maintenance
  • Provide product information and create a welcoming environment
  • Follow local, state, federal laws and company guidelines
  • Manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner
  • Practice honesty and integrity with customer and business information
  • Seek assistance when necessary to resolve issues
  • Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults directly
  • Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
