- Prior experience as a bagger or courtesy clerk is a plus
- Ability to operate point of sale systems
- Ability to adhere to safety and food regulations

Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers actively and courteously
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system
- Handle various forms of payment including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, coupons, and loyalty offers following company policies
- Monitor and control cash shortages and overages to reduce loss
- Follow company guidelines on restricted sales such as alcohol and tobacco
- Report pricing discrepancies to management
- Comply with food safety regulations and store safety procedures
- Identify and report unsafe conditions and equipment issues
- Provide customers with product information and promote a welcoming store environment
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and company policies during all operations
- Manage conflict professionally and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults respectfully and responsibly
- Maintain honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Seek assistance as needed to resolve customer and business issues promptly
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
