Prior experience as a bagger or courtesy clerk is a plus
Ability to operate point of sale systems
Ability to adhere to safety and food regulations

Job Duties

Greet and assist customers actively and courteously
Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system
Handle various forms of payment including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, coupons, and loyalty offers following company policies
Monitor and control cash shortages and overages to reduce loss
Follow company guidelines on restricted sales such as alcohol and tobacco
Report pricing discrepancies to management
Comply with food safety regulations and store safety procedures
Identify and report unsafe conditions and equipment issues
Provide customers with product information and promote a welcoming store environment
Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and company policies during all operations
Manage conflict professionally and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults respectfully and responsibly
Maintain honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
Seek assistance as needed to resolve customer and business issues promptly
Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
