Job Duties

Greet and engage customers actively
Process customer transactions quickly and accurately through the POS system
Handle various payment types including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, overages, and restricted sales
Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
Follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
Maintain knowledge of current and seasonal advertisements
Comply with all food safety regulations and safety procedures
Identify and report unsafe conditions or maintenance needs
Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with product inquiries
Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
Manage conflict in a reasonable and nonconfrontational way
Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information
Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
Perform all essential functions with or without accommodation
