Job Requirements
- a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- excellent computer skills including competency in PDI Enterprise POS
- excellent customer service skills
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to learn simple tasks quickly and work with little or no supervision
- basic math skills
- food handlers permit if required by store or county
- ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- open availability to work all shifts at home store or other district stores as needed

Job Duties
- take measures to preserve the safety of employees and others in the work location
- operate POS system accurately managing cash and payments
- enter transactions, accept payments, and account for funds
- perform service transactions including credit card, coupon redemption, vendor check-in, and sales of alcohol, tobacco, and lottery
- check identification for restricted product sales according to company policy
- participate in all sales promotions and campaigns
- practice suggestive selling and build customer relations
- adhere to city, county, state, and federal laws affecting operations
- maintain a neat personal appearance with company uniform and name tag
- prepare hot food items as directed by Store Manager
- ensure store is clean, equipment sanitized and functional
- sweep and mop floors, clean and restock fuel areas and restrooms
- perform regular cleaning of counters, equipment, trash disposal, and other assigned duties
- stock shelves and perform product deliveries using proper lift techniques
- conduct daily inspections of perishable products and ensure proper rotation
- follow robbery, violence prevention, and store safety policies
- perform barista duties including brewing coffee and maintaining condiment bar
- conduct thorough cleaning during night shifts including deep cleaning restrooms and equipment
- prepare for morning rush by ensuring all food service areas are stocked and operational
