Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
- Ability to operate front end equipment
- Be dependable and reliable
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and participate in a team
- Ability to perform repetitious activities and multitask
- Physical ability to lift/carry 30 lbs and move grocery carts requiring 35 lbs force
- Attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
Job Qualifications

- Ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, and scanner
- Dependable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills and ability to take direction and constructive criticism
- Ability to perform repetitious activities and multitask effectively
- Physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs of force
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
- Handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change accurately
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- Follow all front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting
- Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items, events, and seminars
- Maintain checkout area cleanliness and execute related duties as assigned
