Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
  • Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return
  • Demonstrate core company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
  • Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons according to company policy
  • Monitor and control cash shortages and overages to prevent loss
  • Follow procedures for restricted sales items and report pricing discrepancies
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and store safety procedures
  • Engage customers by answering product questions and providing assistance
  • Identify unsafe conditions and notify management
  • Inspect equipment for maintenance needs and notify supervisors
  • Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts calmly
  • Provide support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
  • Uphold legal guidelines and company policies
  • Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues
  • Maintain honest and ethical business practices
