Job Duties

  • Be visible and actively greet customers
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers
  • Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, overages, and restricted sales items
  • Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for gift cards, postage stamps, and coupons
  • Stay current with seasonal and special promotions
  • Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures
  • Identify unsafe conditions and notify management
  • Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering product questions
  • Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
  • Act honestly and with integrity regarding customer and business information
  • Follow directions and seek assistance as needed
  • Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
  • Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
