Job Duties
- Greet customers proactively and provide excellent customer service
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale system
- Handle various payment tenders including cash, credit, debit, checks, SNAP EBT, and coupons according to company policy
- Adhere to company policies regarding cash shortages, restricted sale items, and loss prevention
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Stay current with promotions, ads, and food safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment and reinforce safety programs
