Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier experience preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Attention to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of cashier experience preferred for Head Cashier position
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Basic knowledge of Point of Sale systems
- Ability to train and mentor others
- Problem-solving skills for handling customer issues
Job Duties
- Process checkout transactions accurately and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain Self-Checkout area
- Handle return transactions following company policies
- Provide customers with product information and identify selling opportunities
- Follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
- Position and support Cashiers during shifts
- Expedite price checks and approve Point of Sale transactions and markdowns
- Provide first level escalation for customer issues
- Assist in training and coaching new Cashiers and Front End Associates
