Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven cashier experience of 1 year or more
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year cashier experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle escalated customer issues professionally
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of point of sale systems
- Ability to train and mentor staff
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Process checkout and return transactions accurately and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- Position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
- Approve point of sale transactions and markdowns for various registers and service areas
- Provide first-level escalation for customer issues
- Assist in the supervision, coaching, and training of front-end associates
- Participate in the training of new cashiers and use coaching tools to develop staff
