Job Duties

Create outstanding customer experiences through exceptional service
Maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customer loyalty
Greet, engage, and assist customers actively and visibly
Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the point of sale system
Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons
Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sale items, and pricing discrepancies
Comply with food safety regulations and safety programs
Monitor equipment and report items in need of repair
Answer customer questions regarding products and store policies
Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
Support and assist customers including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
Follow local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment
Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
