Job Duties

  • Create outstanding customer experiences through exceptional service
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customer loyalty
  • Greet, engage, and assist customers actively and visibly
  • Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the point of sale system
  • Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons
  • Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sale items, and pricing discrepancies
  • Comply with food safety regulations and safety programs
  • Monitor equipment and report items in need of repair
  • Answer customer questions regarding products and store policies
  • Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
  • Support and assist customers including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
  • Follow local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
  • Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
