Job Requirements
- Customer service experience
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math including counting, addition, and subtraction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
- Must comply with all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience

- Ability to learn and operate POS systems
- Integrity and honesty in handling cash and customer information
- Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively in a team
- Previous experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk preferred
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them actively at the checkout
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system
- Handle various tender types including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies on cash handling, restricted sale items, and pricing discrepancies
- Follow all food safety regulations and support store safety programs
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
- Provide excellent customer service by answering product-related questions and creating a welcoming environment
