Job Duties
- Create a welcoming environment for guests
- provide excellent customer service
- handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
- maintain a clean and organized work environment including cash register and surrounding area, condiment stands, countertops, and bakery case
- replenish condiments, serving utensils, and beverage station supplies
- stock coolers and snack shelves using FIFO (First-in First-out) stocking procedures
- follow Dining and Retail Services sanitation and safety standards
- remain alert and attentive to surroundings and people
- clean and stock work areas in and around the register
- train and guide student employees
- interact with customers, answer questions, and provide information regarding products, escalating questions as necessary
- process customer transactions by performing cashier duties using the point of sale system
