Job Duties

Greet and engage customers actively at the checkout
process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers
monitor and control cash shortages and overages
adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items such as alcohol and tobacco
report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
follow established company policies for postage, gift cards, and coupons
stay updated with current promotions and advertisements
comply with food safety regulations
identify and report unsafe conditions, accidents, or equipment issues
create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions
abide by all local, state, and federal laws and company policies
manage conflicts reasonably and cooperatively
maintain confidentiality and act with integrity
provide assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
perform essential functions with or without accommodation
