- Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Greet, engage and assist customers actively
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle various payment types including cash, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers according to company policy
- Adhere to cash shortage and overage guidelines and work to control loss
- Follow company policies on restricted sale items such as alcohol and tobacco
- Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
- Stay current with seasonal and special advertisements
- Comply with food safety regulations and safety programs
- Inspect equipment and notify management of repair needs
- Provide product information to customers and create a welcoming environment
- Follow local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
- Manage conflict in a cooperative and nonconfrontational manner
- Provide support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
