Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or retail preferred
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and follow store policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service and retail experience desirable
  • Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse customers
  • Demonstrates care, compassion, and teamwork
  • Basic familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail operations
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers
  • Handle cash transactions accurately including voids, refunds, and transaction cancellations
  • Ensure compliance with WIC, checks, liquor, and tobacco policies
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the front end and store environment
  • Meet cashier productivity goals including Bottom of the Basket targets
  • Participate in cashier training and follow company policies
  • Perform other store duties as assigned
  • Improve speed and efficiency of service provided
