Job Requirements

Customer service experience
effective communication skills
knowledge of basic math including counting, addition, and subtraction
ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
ability to act with honesty and integrity
ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties

Greet and engage customers actively
process customer transactions quickly and accurately
handle various tender types including cash, checks, credit, debit and government assistance programs
adhere to company policies on restricted sales and cash handling
report pricing discrepancies and follow coupon and gift card procedures
comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures
maintain a welcoming environment for customers and provide product information
manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
follow directions and seek assistance when needed
support special needs customers
perform preventive maintenance checks on equipment
