Job Requirements

  • Customer service experience

  • Knowledge of basic math including counting, addition, and subtraction
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment

  • Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues

Job Duties

  • Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
  • Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety
  • Greet, engage, and assist customers actively
  • Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system
  • Handle various tender types including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT and coupons
  • Adhere to guidelines on cash shortages, restricted sale items, and company policies
  • Report pricing discrepancies and safety issues to management
  • Follow food safety and company procedures
  • Inspect equipment and notify management of repair needs
  • Provide support through direct interaction with diverse customer groups
  • Comply with local, state and federal laws
