Job Duties
- Greet, engage, and assist customers actively
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle various tenders such as cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, loyalty offers, and coupons
- Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sale items, and checkout procedures
- Report pricing discrepancies to Scan Coordinator
- Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Stay current with seasonal and special ads
- Comply with food safety regulations and safety programs
- Inspect equipment and report repair needs
- Create a welcoming environment by answering product questions
- Adhere to all applicable laws and company guidelines
- Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
- Protect customer and business information with honesty and integrity
- Follow directions and seek assistance as needed
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
