Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year cashier experience
Ability to stand for extended periods
Strong numerical and cash handling skills
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Basic computer skills
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members

Job Qualifications

One or more years of cashier experience
Strong customer service skills
Ability to multitask and manage stressful situations
Leadership skills to support and train staff
Knowledge of retail point of sale systems
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

Provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe checkout and return transactions
Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area
Proactively seek product and project knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities
Position cashiers and support price checks
Approve point of sale transactions and markdowns for all register types
Provide first level escalation for customer issues
Assist in supervision, coaching and training of Front End Associates
