- minimum 1 year of cashier experience
- ability to provide friendly and accurate customer service
- knowledge of point of sale systems
- ability to follow store policies and procedures

Job Duties
- process checkout and/or return transactions
- monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area
- seek product/project knowledge to provide customers with information and identify selling opportunities
- follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
- position cashiers and support with price checks
- approve point of sale transactions and markdowns
- provide first level escalation for customer issues
- assist in supervising, coaching, and training Front End Associates
- participate in training new cashiers
- utilize available tools to coach and develop cashiers
