Job Duties

Greet, engage and assist customers actively
Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently
Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, coupons and loyalty offers
Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sales items, and price discrepancies
Follow established procedures for postage stamps, gift cards and coupons
Stay current with promotions, ads and food safety regulations
Report unsafe conditions and perform preventive maintenance checks
Provide a welcoming atmosphere by answering customer questions
Comply with local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
Handle customer and business information with honesty and integrity
Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs and older adults
Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
