Job Duties

  • Greet, engage and assist customers actively
  • Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently
  • Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, coupons and loyalty offers
  • Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sales items, and price discrepancies
  • Follow established procedures for postage stamps, gift cards and coupons
  • Stay current with promotions, ads and food safety regulations
  • Report unsafe conditions and perform preventive maintenance checks
  • Provide a welcoming atmosphere by answering customer questions
  • Comply with local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
  • Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
  • Handle customer and business information with honesty and integrity
  • Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs and older adults
  • Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
