Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Greet customers actively and provide friendly assistance at checkout
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the Point of Sale system
- Handle various forms of payment including cash, checks, credit/debit cards, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons according to company policies
- Monitor and report pricing discrepancies and communicate with the Scan Coordinator
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow protocols for restricted sale items such as alcohol and tobacco
- Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues to management
- Provide supportive customer service by answering product questions and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage conflict in a calm, respectful, and cooperative manner
