- Prior experience as a bagger or courtesy clerk is desired
- Ability to work cooperatively in high paced environments

Job Duties
- Be visible and actively greet, engage and assist customers
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle various payment tenders including cash, check, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, offline SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, loyalty offers, coupons according to company policy
- Understand and adhere to cash shortage and overage limits and work to control loss
- Follow guidelines on restricted sale items such as alcohol, tobacco, DVDs
- Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
- Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Comply with safety procedures and notify management of unsafe conditions or accidents
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs
- Create a welcoming environment by answering questions about products
- Follow all local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in high paced and stressful environment
- Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
