Job Duties
- process checkout transactions accurately and efficiently
- handle return transactions professionally
- monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- seek and apply product knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities
- follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
- position cashiers during shifts and support with price checks
- approve point of sale transactions and markdowns
- provide first level escalation for customer issues
- assist in supervising, coaching, and training front-end associates
- participate in training new cashiers and utilize tools to develop cashier skills
