Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to provide fast accurate and friendly customer service
- Basic understanding of retail checkout procedures
- Ability to follow policies and procedures
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous cashier experience preferred for Head Cashier
- Ability to position and support other Cashiers
- Availability to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of cashier experience preferred for Head Cashier
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced retail environment
- Basic math and computer skills
- Leadership skills for Head Cashier role
Job Duties
- Provide fast friendly accurate and safe service at checkout
- Process Checkout and Return transactions
- Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area
- Seek and share product knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities
- Follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
- Position Cashiers and expedite price checks as Head Cashier
- Approve Point of Sale transactions and markdowns for various registers and service areas
- Handle first level customer issue escalations
- Assist in coaching training and supervising Front End Associates
