  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Job Duties

  • Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service

  • Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
  • Understand and manage various payment tender types including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
  • Adhere to safety programs and food safety regulations
  • Report pricing discrepancies and follow company policies for restricted sale items
  • Provide support and assistance by engaging with customers and answering questions about products
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
  • Maintain equipment and notify management of any repairs needed
  • Manage conflicts reasonably and cooperatively
  • Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
