Job Duties

Be visible and actively greet, engage and assist customers
Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently using POS system
Handle various tenders including Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, Offline SNAP EBT, WIC, Rain checks, loyalty offers and coupons
Adhere to company policies on cash shortages/overages and restricted sale items
Report pricing discrepancies to Scan Coordinator
Follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards and coupons
Stay current with ads including present, future, seasonal and special
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
Comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or issues
Inspect equipment and notify management of repair needs
Create a welcoming environment by answering product questions
Follow local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
Work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment
Manage conflicts reasonably and nonconfrontationally
Act with honesty and integrity
Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
Provide support for minors, individuals with special needs and older adults
Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
