Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk
Ability to work cooperatively in high-paced environments
Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable manner

Job Duties

Be visible and actively greet, engage and assist customers
Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, offline SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, complex loyalty offers, and coupons
Adhere to company policy regarding cash shortages, overages, and restricted sale items
Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
Follow policies and procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
Comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
Inspect equipment and notify management of repair needs
Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions about products
Follow local, state, federal laws, and company guidelines
Work cooperatively in fast-paced, sometimes stressful environments
Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues
Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
Perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
