Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year of cashier experience
- ability to stand for extended periods
- basic math and computer skills
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to handle customer concerns professionally
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 1 year of cashier experience
- strong customer service skills
- ability to operate point of sale systems
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- proactive learning attitude toward product knowledge
Job Duties
- provide customers with fast, friendly, accurate and safe service
- process checkout and/or return transactions
- monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- seek product/project knowledge to provide customer information and identify selling opportunities
- position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks and approving point of sale transactions and markdowns
- provide first level escalation for customer issues
- assist in the supervision, coaching and training of front end associates
