Job Duties

  • Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling
  • proactively offer additional assistance
  • thank customers for shopping at Wegmans
  • when on register, efficiently and accurately scan items and process payments
  • properly bag items to ensure products arrive at their destination in the condition they left the store
  • when in self-checkout area, manage traffic flow
  • direct customers to available lanes
  • ensure the lanes are in good working order and assist customers with system troubleshooting
  • maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work space
