Job Duties
- Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling
- proactively offer additional assistance
- thank customers for shopping at Wegmans
- when on register, efficiently and accurately scan items and process payments
- properly bag items to ensure products arrive at their destination in the condition they left the store
- when in self-checkout area, manage traffic flow
- direct customers to available lanes
- ensure the lanes are in good working order and assist customers with system troubleshooting
- maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work space
