- minimum 1 year of cashier experience
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- strong communication skills
- ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- physical ability to stand for long periods
- familiarity with point of sale systems

Job Duties
- Process checkout and return transactions accurately and efficiently
- monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- seek product and project knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities
- follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
- position and support cashiers by expediting price checks
- approve point of sale transactions and markdowns for registers and service areas
- provide first-level escalation for customer issues
- assist in training and coaching new cashiers and front end associates
