Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year experience as a cashier preferred for head cashier
- excellent interpersonal skills
- attention to detail
- ability to stand for long periods
- basic computer skills
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- provide fast friendly accurate and safe service to customers
- process checkout and return transactions
- monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- proactively seek product and project knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities
- follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
- position cashiers and support expedited price checks
- approve point of sale transactions and markdowns for mainline registers self-checkout returns pro desk special services and tool rental
- provide first level escalation for customer issues
- assist in training coaching and supervising other front end associates
