Job Duties
- Greet, engage, and assist customers actively
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system
- Handle various payment tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and WIC according to company policy
- Adhere to cash shortage and overage limits and work to control loss
- Follow guidelines on restricted sale items such as alcohol and tobacco
- Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
- Comply with food safety regulations and maintain store safety by identifying unsafe conditions and notifying management
