Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of cashier experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of Cashier experience for Head Cashier role
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple transactions accurately
- Knowledge of point of sale systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to supervise and train team members
- Basic problem-solving abilities
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, accurate, and safe checkout and return transactions
- Monitor and maintain self-checkout area
- Seek product and project knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities
- Follow policies and procedures to minimize shrinkage
- Position and support Cashiers by expediting price checks
- Approve point of sale transactions and markdowns for multiple checkout points
- Serve as first-level escalation for customer issues
- Assist in supervising, coaching, and training Front End Associates
- Participate in training new Cashiers and utilize coaching tools
