Job Duties

  • Greet and engage customers actively and assist them
  • Process customer transactions quickly and accurately at the checkout
  • Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and manage various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
  • Adhere to company policies on handling cash shortages, restricted sales, and pricing discrepancies
  • Follow food safety regulations and reinforce safety programs by identifying and reporting unsafe conditions
  • Maintain equipment and notify management of repair needs
  • Provide customer service by answering questions about products and store policies
