Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers actively and assist them
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately at the checkout
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and manage various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
- Adhere to company policies on handling cash shortages, restricted sales, and pricing discrepancies
- Follow food safety regulations and reinforce safety programs by identifying and reporting unsafe conditions
- Maintain equipment and notify management of repair needs
- Provide customer service by answering questions about products and store policies
