Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers actively
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons
- Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, overages, and restricted sales
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Stay updated on current and seasonal ads
- Comply with food safety regulations and company safety programs
- Inspect equipment and notify management of repair needs
- Provide a welcoming environment and answer product questions
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- Manage conflicts reasonably and non-confrontationally
- Follow directions and seek help when needed
- Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
